Breathe in through the nose for a of five, hold for one, and breathe out through your nose for a count of six. Do this for a round of five. Note how you feel before and after.
Take a moment to just notice the world around you. Look up. Look out a window. Look at something and appreciate that fact that it exists.
Are you circling on a task list? Something you need to figure out? Take a moment and say (in your head) “I am here right now, this is my life right now”.
Think of a friend, a family member, or even just someone you see on the street. Send them an email, pay them a compliment, smile - a genuine smile. Reaching out helps to recharge within.
What is one thing you are grateful for in this moment? Is it the fact that you are breathing? Do you have good friends? Was your lunch tasty? Find one thing to be grateful for and allow it to fill your body like a smile.
